A confession...
I struggle with tobacco addiction. I've quit tons of times but I never can lose the craving or desire to have it. Though there are worse things to be addicted to, I don't want to be dependent and addicted.
If you get a chance, say a prayer for my desire to leave. If you struggle with an addiction, post a comment, I'll pray for you as well.

I pray for you and everyone else who has a problem with any addiction. My fiance struggles with alcohol and I see that it is very difficult for him to stop.
HEY BRIAN, YOUR SITE IS VERY INTERESTING. IM JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I AM A 30 YEAR OLD CHRISTIAN MAN THAT HAS COME FROM A LIFE OF COCAINCE ALCOHOL AND SEX ABUSE BASICLY STARTING FROM ABOUT 15. THE LORD JESUS HAS TAKEN MY LIFE AND COMPLELY CHANGED ME AND BLESSED ME SO MUCH, THE COCAINCE ADDICTION HE TOOK AND JUST THROUGH IT OUT THE WINDOW. BUT THE ALCOHOL AND NICOTINE I STILL AM DEALING WITH AND I AM CONVICTED OF IT EVERY DAY, BUT I AM ACTUALLY GETTING WORSE THE MORE I TRY TO QUIT THE MORE I DRINK AND SMOKE. ITS EFFECTING ME PHYSICALLY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY SPIRTUALLY. I HAVE REPENTED SO MANY TIMES OF DRINKING THAT I FEEL RIDICULOUS EVERY TIME I PRAY. I READ THE BIBLE AND STUDY ALMOST EVERYDAY, BUT SINCE THE DRINKING AND SMOKING HAS CONTINUED I FEEL FURTHER AND FURTHER AWAY FROM JESUS. I JUST DONT UNDER STAND WHY HE TOOK THE COCAINE ADDICTION AWAY BUT I CANT STOP THIS. I DONT HAVE THE WORDS TO EXPRESS WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR ME,AND I CANT DO THIS ONE THING FOR HIM. IT IS STOPPING ME FROM GROWING SPIRTUALLY AND MY FAMILY IS HURTING FROM IT AS WELL. JUST THOUGHT MAYBEE YOU WOULD HAVE SOME IMPUT AND PRAYERS, AND ILL PRAY FOR YOU AS WELL.
THANKS TRAVIS
Hi Travis -
Have you tried any alcohol rehab systems? God works through these too - DO know however that you are going through this for a reason - it may be to help others with their alcohol problem once you've kicked yours.
Continue to pray - and don't forget to exhaust all of your resources that God has put in place, AA and such!! :)

Brian,
As a christian musician and gtr tech in Nashville, I discovered your pedals. But I became a bigger fan (probably not the right word) of your work after learning you were a Christian. I think God is doing great things in the musical communityu of Nashville right now. Just wanted to encourage you a little.
Anyway, Idiscovered this blog today and I thought I would write and let you know I will pray for you. How are you doing with the addiction? Just wanted to hold you accountable. God Bless
